GCU is capable of rehabilitating gravity collection mains and storm drains with the Cured in Placed Pipe (C.I.P.P.) process. Sectional liners (point repairs) or full main lining (manhole to manhole) can be performed based on your project needs. The process involves the inversion of a resin saturated felt liner into the existing pipeline. Heat is then applied to the liner by way of hot water or steam, and upon full cure of the resin, the end result is a new, continous pipeline inside the original host pipe.
GCU is also capable of providing pipe bursting solutions. This involves pulling a new HDPE (typically) pipe through the old pipe and literally “bursting” the existing host pipe in the process. This remarkable technology allows you to upsize your pipe by actually pulling a larger ID pipe while using the existing pipe as your conduit.
Submittals are specific to each individual project.
