Lynn Haven, FL
Gulf Coast Underground (GCU) successfully completed the Lynn Haven SRF Sewer Rehabilitation project in 2019 as part of State Revolving Fund (SRF) Contract No. 14458B. This initiative addressed aging sewer infrastructure across Lynn Haven, FL, as part of the City’s broader effort to eliminate inflow and infiltration (I&I), restore structural reliability, and ensure long-term wastewater system performance. Funded through the SRF program, the project was delivered under strict compliance guidelines, requiring detailed tracking, submittals, and inspection verification at every phase.
The scope of work included 71,500 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, covering sewer main sizes ranging from 6″ to 30″. Prior to installation, GCU completed 71,500 linear feet of cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection to verify host pipe conditions. All work was performed under live flow in residential neighborhoods, supported by multiple bypass systems to ensure uninterrupted service. The project also included 294 vertical feet of manhole rehabilitation, with 55 manholes restored and 13 laterals televised to evaluate connections. Trenchless methods minimized surface disruption, and all disturbed areas were restored post-construction.
GCU maintained full compliance with SRF documentation requirements, including daily field logs, pre- and post-installation CCTV, liner verification, and QA/QC reporting. Close coordination with municipal staff and funding administrators ensured timely approvals and alignment with reimbursement schedules. The company’s organized and responsive approach to compliance made it possible to meet both technical and administrative expectations without delay. Delivered on time and within budget, the Lynn Haven SRF project demonstrates GCU’s ability to successfully execute high-volume, grant-funded infrastructure rehabilitation. The project showcases the company’s trenchless expertise, field precision, and commitment to helping municipalities achieve long-term utility system goals through cost-effective, minimally disruptive solutions.
